Follow My Fulbright Journey

Note: This is not an official U.S. Department of State website, and the views and information presented are my own and do not represent the Fulbright Program or the Department of State.

In March, I received notice that I was selected as a finalist for the study/research Fulbright program. During the 2017-18 academic year, I will spend 9 months living in Chile. The grant will allow me time to not only conduct my dissertation research, but also work closely with Profesor Óscar Aguilera Ruiz (Universidad de Chile) as an affiliated researcher on Juventudes / Proyecto Juventudes, a project related to visual constructions of youth in Chile during the twentieth century.

I will blog my Fulbright experiences along with any writing, travel, and research trips as a series here on my website as a means of encouraging scholarly and cultural discussion and exchange. Please keep an eye out for future posts.

If you’re a Fulbrighter during the 2017-18 year, please let me know. I’d love to connect with you and also share your blog link or any relevant social media.
