The Latin American Studies Association recently announced the Call for Papers for the 2018 conference that will be held in Barcelona, España.

I’m interested in putting together a thematic panel centered on student activism and education in Latin America (Cold War era, but am willing to expand). I plan to submit an abstract where I historicize Chilean university students from 1964-1990 (likely part of a forthcoming chapter of my dissertation). If you are interested in working together and creating a panel, please get in touch with me! Papers should be focused on the history of student activism in education, less so on curriculum and education practices. If you know others who also may be interested, feel free to share.
